Adult Discipleship Opportunities
Unlike Sunday morning Bible study that is designed for believers and seekers alike, adult
discipleship studies exist to help believers deepen their personal walk with Christ. Courses
and studies are constructed to strengthen believers’ understanding of deep spiritual truths,
of immutable doctrines of scripture. These experiences challenge believers to live fully
committed lives and serve to nurture their personal prayer life, Bible study, and ministry. The
studies help believers learn to share their faith more compassionately and more boldly.
Studies are offered to complement believers at various stages in their faith life. Some are more
suitable for new believers; others challenge long-time believers to dig more deeply in
pursuing God’s plan for their future. Studies are offered throughout the year and are available
as women’s, men’s and mixed studies.
Some of the studies offered in the past include Beth Moore's discipleship studies for women,
"Journey Through the Bible" - an intensive year-long study of the entire Bible, discipleship
courses by Henry Blackaby, Bruce Wilkinson, and Adrian Rogers, as well as studies of
various books of the Bible. Call the church office to learn what studies are currently offered.
