David Noble has served as pastor of First Baptist Church since 1997. He and his wife Diane
have two grown sons, Matt and Jeff. David also serves as the chaplain for the Harrisonville
Police Department, president of the Harrisonville Ministerial Alliance, and board member for
the LifeChoice Center of Harrisonville. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Truman State
University (Kirksville, MO), a Master of Science degree from the University of North Texas
(Denton, TX), a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary (Princeton,
NJ), and the Doctor of Ministry degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
(Kansas City, MO).
Lisa Hern is our music director. She and her husband, James, have two sons, Tyler and
Landon. Lisa has a Bachelor of Science degree in music education from William Jewell
College (Liberty, MO) and graduate coursework in music at Central Missouri State University
(Warrensburg, MO). Lisa is also the music teacher at Harrisonville Elementary School. The
Herns have been members of our congregation since 1998.
Ryan and Jamie Droege serve as co-directors of our youth ministry. The Droeges have two
sons, Samuel and Andrew. Ryan grew up in this church and Jamie joined our fellowship in
2001 when she and Ryan were married. Ryan has studied at Kansas State University
(Manhatten, KS) and DeVry Institute (Kansas City, MO). Jamie has a Bachelor of Science
degree from Northwest Missouri State University (Maryville, MO) and a Master of Science
degree from Central Missouri State University (Warrensburg, MO).
Other staff members not pictured include Loretta Johnson, administrative assistant for the
church, and Steve Kagarice, church facilities.
